Bowling was at one time one of the top American past times. Over the years due to competition of other bowling alleys and competition in the form of so many other types of attractions, bowling has taken some hits. Many bowling alleys are not producing the revenues they once were and often on non-league nights they have empty lanes. This trend has been going on for decades.
The Bowling Industry needs some revival. Fewer bowling alleys are being built these days due to slip and fall lawsuits and return on investment requirements needed to make it a worthy business. In fact the cost to build a modern bowling alley, all the equipment and the property could be over a million dollars without too much trouble.I propose that to re-invigorate the excitement of the modern bowling alley and bring people back into the bowling facilities across America, for reasons of human interaction and weight loss; that we improve the experience.
Further I propose a multi-colored bright light system, which works of the concussion and vibration of the ball carriers, alley roll and crash against the pins. I propose we do this in such a way that does not require any additional energy or cost from the power grid. I propose a system be devised using electromagnetic induction technology to charge a capacitor instead of the lights working off a power source.Currently there are some nifty micro-flashlights being used which you can buy which use a similar technique and are available thanks to the Everlite Flashlight technology research lab. These smaller flashlights work by shaking them for about thirty seconds and shine for about 6 minutes and they shine quite bright since they use a very bright LED light. Here is a link to this home use flashlight:.
http://demo.physics.uiuc.edu/LectDemo/scripts/demo_descript.idc?DemoID=1138.I propose that we do this on a larger scale, to run alley lights and bright colored lights depending on the amount of energy in the crash against the pins.
This vibrational energy will power up bright lights and along with mirrors make the experience that much more intense. What say you? Think on this.
